Trolls are not typically known for their fondness of water. What brings this dim-witted brute out of mountains and cave dwellings into the endless damp of a swamp is an important question.

Bol’Goreth himself holds no infamy in regards to deeds done, farmhouses flattened, livestock devoured, or anything the like. He displays nothing outside of normal troll behavior, save perhaps being a bit more brutish and a bit less intelligent, if such a thing is possible.

Why Bol’Goreht has come to the marsh and what purpose is served in his dealings with the locals is unknown. Could his scheming be the first signs of intelligence in the dull creature, or is he a servant of some other, much more clever foe?

Raythen-2-front Raythen-2-backDescription

Escaping the certain death of the Dunwarr expedition massacre, this clever rogue understands one simple thing: the greater the stakes, the greater the payoff. Not one to be easily frightened off, he knows there has to be something valuable left in Sudanya to create this kind of brutal response. Whatever riches may be found, Raythen just needs to find another group of rubes–or rather stalwart heroes–capable of getting him there.

The people of Rhynn certainly need no reminder of this elder dragon. Valyndra’s lust
for gold, fire, and general havoc is legendary, and she has made a habit of bringing ruin to any settlement or structure that is erected too close to her domain—which seems to move around every century or so.

Some say that Valyndra was responsible for the first hybrid, earning her the title Wyrm Queen. Whether or not she had anything to do with the mysterious origins of the
hybrids, she does display a motherly fondness for the wretched creatures, giving them places of honor in her hidden court. It is through these ruthless minions that Valyndra is able to constantly keep her coffers overflowing, for reasons unknown to
the mortal mind.

Valyndra’s lair is a place of legend, where all the treasures of Rhynn seem to end up. Many adventurers have dedicated their lives to finding and raiding the Wyrm Queen’s chambers. Alas, the only ones that returned refuse to say much on the matter…
